thanksCredit-Repair-Guy answers:I'm looking to move out to Vancouver myself pretty soon (currently in California). I know there is a lot of paperwork and approval you need before you make the move. Also, have you decided if youre changing your citizenship or going for dual-citizenship (I think they have dual)? Last I checked you need to have a job already in place before you make the move. You can go to the government website and find out most things you need.
One thing to remember when moving anywhere is be prepared. Most people think of the main bills but forget the small stuff. (Cleaning supplies, food, laundry, etc that you need to spend money on very consistently.) Also, it helps to already know people - even if you prefer being alone most of the time anyway. I've had friends move out of state by themselves - not have many friends where their originally from - but hit depressions when they realize how alone they are.

Most of the Canadian Banks have US dollar denominated credit products. I have one through mine. There will be a small annual fee in most cases, like $20.

Also if you deal in Canada with RBC, I'd seriously suggest you look at their RBC Centura operation. You don't "need" a credit card, you can use a PayPal account, but you have to be 18 for that. Whenever you sell something, you'll get that person's address and just go to your post office and ship it. To receive, whenever you buy a product all you do is give your address and you'll receive it either in the mail at your house, or at your P.O. Box, choosing either one is just for personal preference. Its very safe. One very good tip is you want to buy from someone who has as close to 100% positive feedback. I myself, and countless other people I know, won't even by from someone with less that 99.3%, and even then we've had troubles.
